in that case u are correct that u dont have presets... but i mean its not that hard to tilt the mirror hecka down right? because if u dont know how to parallel PERIOD then i dont think the parking assist or the camera are gonna help u much anyways...if u know what i mean

i dunno if the tilting mirrors are a good thing IMO they just distract when backing up. i tried using them in my moms LS and ended up going over the curb. better to just use your eyes. how hard could parking the IS be? its not a very big car and it has a good turning radius.

Spend the $85/month... It's so worth it...

I pay $225/month for each of my parking spaces in Washington DC, so $85 seems cheap!

Have to agree with the others, find the $85 for the garage. I would say if you are so stretched that you have to park your Lexus on the street maybe you shouldn't be driving a Lexus, or any expensive vehicle, at this point in your life. There seems to be a lot of people on this board who are stretched to the max in their car committments.

Even if you do spend money to fix curb rash every month, after a while that rim will need to be replaced. You can only fix(grind down and repaint) a certain number of times until the rim is going to be slightly out of balance.

Just get a set of steelies and practice on those Although, people would look at you and be like WTF?!? Steelies on a Lexus...hehe

Car is paid off. Between my two apartments I'm paying nearly $1200/month and I'd rather not have to give another $85 to these guys, but I guess its worth it.

Lol I don't hit the curb once a month. I hit it for the first time yesterday after like 3 months and just wanted parking assist, tilting mirrors, or something similar so it wouldn't happen again. Usually it takes me like 2 tries to actually parallel the car though.
