Post 2IS Aftermarket Nav

After no success in finding an answer using the search function, I pose this question.

Has anyone successfully installed an aftermarket nav on a 2nd Gen IS? If so does your unit have a backup camera, bluetooth and iPod integration?

If so, please fill out the following information:

Year and Model Trim:

Name of Aftermarket Nav:

Backup Camera:

Bluetooth:

iPod Integration:

Price:

Thanks in advance

wait for the dash kit from Scorche. Then you can use any aftermarket toys.

dash kit.. hmmm do u already have a nav system ? Cause i have seen a member on this forum that has non-nav 2IS that added a aftermarket nav. Now if you have a nav in your car it will be hard to replace it. Just because of your ac controls and etc...

Well I have not added Nav to my 2IS, but with the aftermarket audio system I have installed I can install one quite easily.

Year and Model Trim: 2006 250 premium

Name of Aftermarket Nav: Alpine NVE-N872A or Alpine Backbird with docking station. I have not bought these NAV units, but they will intergrate with the system I have installed very easily.

Backup Camera: A backup camera can be installed on one of the Vehiclehub Pro's or the touchscreen's AUX video inputs.

Bluetooth: Alpine TME-M740BT LCD touchcreen monitor (when released for sale in March) can operate the Vehiclehub Pro, both Alpine NAV systems, and is Bluetooth phone capable.

iPod Integration:The Alpine Vehicle Hub Pro controls ipods directly through an Alpine Full Speed cable.

Price:

MSRP not including installation:

Vehicle Hub Pro system controller: $500
TME-M740BT touchscreen monitor: $450 (available in March)
ipod Full Speed cable: $30
NVE-N872A NAV complete system: $1700
Blackbird NAV system: $550
Blackbird docking station: $200

With some creative wiring the system's audio can be inserted into the 2IS base audio system so no aftermarket amplifiers or speakers would be needed.
