hey guys, got a new eclipse 2din in my 250

its the eclipse 5500 with navi and dvd player, its pretty nice i really like it



form n function in el monte installed it for me, it was a pain for them to find out how to make it compatible with the stock system

sounds reaaal good and the navi is fun to play with, same exact system as the stock lexus navi i heard

yea, ill post more pics probably tomorrow or tuesday, gota get my digital camera fixed.

but my audio place cut me up a custom dash to go in the empty spaces on the sides, it looks pretty good

 

Did they relocate the factory head unit to the glove box?

 

That looks really good. One thing though, the nav looks really low. It most likely wouldn't be a good idea to drive and look at it frequently.

the main board from the stock player was relocated and hidden in the dash, yes i can open the ash tray. i thought it would be kind of low at first also, but its actually at a great location imo.

no it doesnt hit the shifter if it opens, well for me anyways.

even when i have it on first, it doesnt touch the shifter if i open the screen to put in cd's
