does anyone know if the car beeps when you exit the car with the headlights on?

i sometimes forget to turn off the headlights...and i find myself wondering why the car doesn't beep when i leave the car.

i know the headlights will turn off by itself regardless if its set to "On" or "Auto" but i'd like to hear the beep

 

no the car doesn't beep. if you open the door before you turn off the engine and your lights aren't on 'auto' the lights will stay on until you actually lock the door. otherwise, they'll turn off in about 30 seconds.

 

the lights will turn off even if its set to ON... so you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
