You will find plenty of performance mods for the IS350 using this forum's search function. There are intakes, filters, exhausts, springs, coilovers ...

also check out some of the vendors' sites... you can find them out by looking at the vendor marketplace. there are actually some group buys going on right now.

I checked l-tunedparts.com, and for the IS250 all I see is a bunch of strut bars (yippee...), a few exhaust systems, one LMS intake, and an LSD. The LSD isn't going to help much on a car that is so crippled by the traction and stability control programs. The intake and exhaust systems, I'll bet (and I may be wrong), won't really add much but more noise. And the strut bars are far from being the top priority on a 250.

I expected more to be out there for the IS by now. Like performance suspension bits (shocks, bushings, etc), SSK's, etc.

Sounds expensive. I'd rather spend my money on stiff shocks and suspension bushings.

Don't bet on bushings anytime soon. They still don't exist for the Supra and those cars are now 13 years old. Unless someone starts using an IS in some legitimate form of motorsports, many of those pieces will never exist.

I don't understand why anyone would want to "upgrade" the bushings on a car like the IS anyway. Unless you are building a dedicated track car (stripped interior, roll cage, etc.), they offer the lowest level of benefit relative to the trade-offs in ride quality.

How about ship the car to Tom's Racing in Japan and ask for the super charger kit?

I calculated it: $25,000 + IS350 + 2 weeks labor + 8 weeks freight = 100hp more Tom's power.

LOL..

re-badge your is350 into an is-F. j/k. /off-topic

i've been trying to find out which way to make more HP as well, but it looks like there isn't much beyond the bolt-ons...

Doesn't have to be a dedicated track car for the owner to reap the benefits of a solid suspension.

I don't understand why anyone would want a pillow-soft suspension.
