What did that prove? That you can give the IS on the ground a huge head start, and it will just barely beat the falling Lexus to the drop zone? Or that a special effects team can make you think that an IS 350 can accelerate from a dead stop at a rate of 9.8 M/S²?

 

I don't know.. did the commercial make any comparisons? Did it claim it was faster than anyone else? I don't know I haven't seen the commercial yet.

But I am betting that the majority of people enjoy the commercial simply because the IS got some air time.

Maybe everything is not a competition! :P

 

Well, like most effective commercials, it got my attention and is entertaining. I'm not planning to race a falling IS to a designated point or anything like that...

I just think its a cool clip...

That voice-over guy has the sweetest job...
