Someone can easily miss this feature in the manual. I didn't know about the red color until I actually did 100.

You know, the red ring is cool looking (it really is "blood" red) but now it's starting to make me feel slightly guilty... I mean, at first I just enjoyed it, but now it's like someone is waving a nagging finger at me everytime I go over 100mph (which is often)... Sort of like "no no no! Bad driver for going over 100mph!"... almost like a nagging soccer mom is riding shotgun! lol...

I wish I knew your secret. When I travel to the D.C./Northern Virginia region, I frequently have trouble breaking 10 MPH, let alone 100. Not to snub your part of the country, but I think the traffic in the DC metro area may be worse than L.A.

You know, it's funny you compare to LA... I was just crusing around last night with a friend from LA who was visiting and he was like "Man, I think the traffic here is worse than LA!" hahaha... I agree with both of you...

Secret? Nah, no secret... I typically just gun the car on on-ramps and off-ramps when there's room ahead (Probably the safest place to speed since no cops can hide and it's just 1-lane)... So I really only hit 100+ for maybe 2-3 seconds... Nothing major... This is non-rush hour of course... But since I don't drive during rush hour I can enjoy gunning the car to 100+ MPH almost daily...

hehe, I have already thought about that... I bet that everything in the gauge cluster goes off the speedo itself, which would make a hack "difficult"... I noticed that you can't change the "disp" options (such as afs, tpms, orange ring) while the car is moving... I was thinking about how to hack that as well... But like I said, I think it's all connected to the actual speedo... So the obvious way is to disconnect the speedo! haha... Not an option...

But ya, seriously, I like the red ring, just wish I could set it a bit higher, like 140MPH... That's all...
