Default Speedo turning red

So I installed my Fsport intake today and shortly after I jumped on the highway on my way out to dinner and a couple of times when I hit 78-80 my speedo kept lighting up red. It's never done that before, can someone tell me what this means and why?

You meant turned Orange? Did you ever drive the car passed 80MPH? I believe factory setting to have the Tach light up around 78-80MPH. You could change that to any speed you want.

It turns red when you go over a certain amount from the original speed warning light. Like mine only goes red past 100

It means you are speeding. You can change the setting. It is actually useful to get your attention if you do not notice you are speeding.

On my 2006, the reset buttons located on the panel to the left of the steering wheel. They are the set of 3 buttons (the middle is to select the options and the left/right is to adjust the setting).
