This time of year, the roads see many new drivers and even some of the seasoned drivers who are not paying attention. Let's be safe not only at the intersections:
WTF, as I remember the red light runners are the ones who cross the red light because it was green/yellow and they couldn't stop (not saying it's a good thing). But why the **** do they cross like that since it was red in the first place?
In where I live, when the signal is green, and it's close for being yellow/red, the green keeps blinking for a couple of seconds just to show it's time to stop. Dunno about you guys have that.
Here in California almost every time I go out driving there are red light runners, some are just worse than others (like it was red for like a complete 6-7 seconds before they crossed the line)
The people in that vid were just retarded. It was RED! not yellow —> Red like the normal red-light runners who are just a second late or something..
Yep, it's just blatantly running the light. I can understand the people who are crossing just as it turns red; there is usually a buffer time between when one signal turns red and the other direction turns green for safety.
Over here, we have those on some intersections on the crosswalk lights. When the red hand is flashing, there is a countdown and when that countdown ends, the traffic light turns yellow. I always watch those crosswalks to know when the light is going to turn yellow, so I know beforehand whether or not to try to make it past the yellow or to slow down.
The ones that amaze me the most are the drivers totally oblivious to the fact that there are 2 or 3 lanes of cars stopped, and they fly thru in the one open lane.
They need to have those redlight cameras everywhere, the ones that record. Someone ran a red light and hit me. It was red for at least 20 seconds cause I was waiting for a car to turn. The drivers friend said "man he just ran the other redlight too". The driver denied running a red but finally admitted it a week later.
Wtf are people doing. Too many things going on. Phone, reading, eating, etc....

It's also Prom/Graduation season at high schools and colleges, and many teens and young people are partying, DWI, and other dumb things with cars.
