I think you'll find you are in the minority on this, even people that don't like the wood, most don't think it looks cheap and fake.

I agree. You can't really deny that it looks quality, even if you'd prefer the painted plastic.

The metallic trim doesn’t look bad but the wood trim make the car look more classy.
