I always start (on any vehicle), by starting with the very top portion closest to the A-pillar. Get that seated into the door edge, and work the rest of it on. Then once once fully seated, you should simply be able to snap in the plastic clips along the door panel by just giving it a bit of pressure until you hear them click into position.
