remove the the wipers on top of the panel and put them on to the top of the door first and pop the panel back into the wiper and door holes. the wiper comes off by pressing the clip holding it on.

some of my clips stayed in the door when i pulled the panel off so i just used some scissors to pull the clip off. there are also some foam rings the go between the clip and the door hole that stick to the door of fall off too so watch for those.

Well managed to pull everything loose, except for the top (window) part...
It seems to stay stuck?

All the other sides, bottom and middle are loose now...
Except for the top part. :S

Any ideas?

there is a screw behind the door handle.

there is a small panel you can pop off in there.

There are these metal clips that hold the top part of the panel to the door. There should be about 3 or so I forget how many but make sure everything is loose to where it could flap except the top of course. Then hold the sides of the panel and push up.

I had to remove and replace the clear plastic (@1K miles) on the driver's door because the monkeys at Lexus ripped it and made a mess. Do NOT take your car to them if you have rattles. They will only do more damage. I finally fixed all the rattles myself.

Anyways, the mat was installed overover the clear plastic. It protects it from water comming into the door. If anyone do this, be sure to use LARGE sheets. As shown in the picture, only two sheets were used.

I did all my mods work myself.

Quick question.

My passenger side window is off track so would there be anyway to get to it if I take the door panel off? I'm lookin at these pics and cant figure out if the window would be accessible.

My window is off track or the track is broken.

try removing the bottom speaker. that worked on my civic its worth a shot.

So by removing the bottom speaker that would give me better acess to the window and window track??? It almost looks like I have to remove the whole door.

i know that a lexus and a honda aren't the same. but my window in my civic always got off track. i would always just take off the door panel and the speaker and it gave me access to the track. try it. who knows. i think you're the first person to have problems with the window.

Thanks for the info.

I know! I did a search and tried to find a thread about this issue and no bueno! Someone broke into my car awhile ago, and when I got it replaced (not at a dealership), it has had problems ever since. I hope I can figure it out. The dealer quoted me $140 just to look at the problem!!! Yeah right!
