They are replacing my tires due to the fact that my car steers to the right really bad. I complained to them in August...I guess they forgot and my nagging really paid off...plus they threw in a oil change.
Just changed my tires from the Dunlops to Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. The ride is now amazing. The car feels even more planted and solid. I've always liked the Michelin quality.

I just picked up a full set of Michelin Pilot PS2's, but probably won't be putting them on until the spring time. I do agree that Michelin is the way to go even for their all-seasons.

I have PS2s on my M3. Outstanding summer tires. Razor sharp handling. I'm sure they'll be great on your IS.

Me too! Did you find the ride more comfortable and quieter? Are you on 17" or 18"?

Thanks!
I have the stock 18" w/sport. The ride is quieter, and much more compliant. I haven't noticed any handling losses, but then again, I'm not an aggressive driver.
The car has a completely different feel now. Feels much more "planted".
Just curious, anyone have issues with buying Michelins (French Co) ? I'm normally a moderate liberal kinda guy, but given a choice, I'd like to give my business to OEM or domestic friendly companies . . .

I give my business to those companies that make the best product.

I believe Goodyear is the only USA tire co. left and I am not even sure about that. The one thing that makes Michelins very good is that they are light, light and lighter. PS2's are 4lbs per tire lighter than the old Bridgestone S03 in the 245/40/18's I run. That greatly improves ride quality. But, they are soooo overpriced.
