The Australian spec cars also have this feature. There is a button next to the mirror angle adjuster which, when pressed, folds the both side mirrors towards the car. It is quite useful to prevent ppl banging into them when they walk between cars. I see lots of ppl with handbags/bags that often bang them to mirrors when they walk past.

If people are parking that close together, the mirrors should be the least of their worries! The sides of the car must get pretty banged up.
I had power folding mirrors on the last F150 I had. As was said before you pressed a button and they folded in towards the door. It was great for drive-through ATM's.
So many different international specs, but why? My IS 250 has autofolding mirrors, parking sensors, rear camera, bluetooth phone, voice activated phone/satnav/media, Mark Levinson, illuminated scuff plates, leather, rear blind, HID beams that track, memory seats that are heated and ventilated etc...
