It seems like these are OEM parts from Lexus Japan, which is pretty nice to have for non-smokers, and i'm just wondering if any dealers around the US will be carrying these soon?

that's been out for awhile and i think it's pretty expensive. you can probably order it if you wish like another other JDM part. also you can remove the lighter assembly from your current console and with a little work yourself, transform that section into something more useable.

If your looking for a place to hide your 'shades' try the sunglass holder just in front of your sunroof controls. Works for me!!!

i havent seen it in person or anything..but it looks really shallow.. haha doesent even look like you can close the thing without breaking your sunglasses

Not to highjack, but how do you remove the cig lighter? I am interested in getting one.

all you need is a screwdriver. it's very easy.

remove the trim, pull up the shifter cover, unscrew the box, can't remember exactly but rip out the cig lighter assembly (leaves a hole)...that's it.
