I'd like to clear something up... I've read on several threads now that the K&N intake is "too loud" at WOT. This is a misinterpretation of what one person (Greg, aka 'Glilly') wrote. Greg, is his singular opinion, prefers the quiet luxury of the stock intake. That's fine - he's looking for a "stock" sound. However, please don't label the K&N "too loud" because of one person's personal preference for quiet. I have the K&N intake, and in no way do I consider it "too loud." If I did, I would have taken it off - I didn't pay one red cent for it. The only instance where I can actually hear the intake is under heavy load (HARD acceleration) or completely WOT. At WOT, I WANT my car to sound like it has some *****... I have also spoken to several others who have the K&N intake and they all LOVE the sound. I've heard the Fujita intake, and it sounds just as loud as my K&N, if not louder.

Anyway, I'm not a K&N fanboy, but as far sound is concerned, it's really a personal preference. Sound shouldn't be a major point in deciding between the K&N and the Fujita, because they're pretty much the same. Now, if you want something more subtle, then the JoeZ is exactly what you're looking for. Joe sells a great product, at a great price, and is a stand-up guy.

I haven't heard the K&N in person but if it's anything like the LMS I have, it sounds sooo good at WOT and you can't even hear it while cruising.
