Default Rubbing Really Bad

I got my rims about 2 months ago and i went through this website to determine which would be the best size width and what kind of tire size i should get.

i got 19x8.5 in the front with 235/35/19 in the front and whenever i turn the wheel is rubs against something i cant figure it out

in the rear i got 19x9.5 with 275/30/19 and let me tell you anytime i hit like a little hump on the road especially at high speeds or when i have people in the back seat it rubs rediculously.

im going to have to downgrade to 255/30/19 in order to stop rubbing, and im not even a 100% sure that, that will eliviate the problem. If anyone can help me with this matter it would be great sorry i dont have any pics of it up ive been extremly busy but im back now and i will have photos asap.

any help would be greatly appreciated

what are you lowered on? Stock shouldn't rub at all, ...even a slight 1" drop shouldn;t pose the rubbing your describing

Greg

i'm using a +43 front and +45 rear and have very little rubbing in the front, and none that i've noticed in the rear (although I haven't loaded down the rear yet)

I had rubbing with 275/30/19 in the rear. This was due to Kumho tires i purchased being especially wide for the given size. The shop I bought the wheels and tires from had a "wheel lip roller" which attaches to the rear hub and flattens the inside lip. The shop took extra care to heat the wheel arch to make the paint more flexable to avoid cracking. Now the car looks good and doen't rub.

Check the Forums for best sizes. Avoid Kumho's as they are wider than other tire brands for the same size.

i doubt you're rubbing any metal on the fender. take a heat gun and heat up the plastic fender liner and push it in. that should solve your rubbing issues. the tires are just rubbing the fender liner.

heat gun for the front, cut out the lip in the rear fender and you'll be fine. My car is lowered on 20s and I dont rub at all.

BFG KDW's are the same way, ...one of the reasons I went with a 265 in the rear.

I hate the "stretched look" of these new "VIP" style tires on wide rims, ...just get a proper tire that fits. ...stretched tires won't have as much contact patch with the road as a proper fitting tire.

Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 235/35ZR19F & 265/35ZR19R
This is probably the best all-around setup.

or other brand tires.
