Post a pic of your remote. What buttons does it have on it? LOCK, UNLOCK, TRUNK, PANIC and START?

regards, Bart.

All they did was install a aftermarket alarm. Thus two remotes. Not exactly what most people is looking for.

I'm hoping.........maybe......LMS would try to make one?

Actually, this is good news because it means the immobilizer system can be bypassed. DEI has a remote start unit that will control the starting process. The module can be set to activate when receiving 3 pulses (say from the lock pulse on the door lock), or parking light flashes. This way, you would start the car by pressing the lock button 3 times consecutively within a certain time frame (say 5 seconds).

Hi Bart,

You would need the DEI Valet 561R.

1. You'd patch the white/blue activation wire to a ground for the parking lights and set the unit to 3 or more pulses.
2. You'd either have to not connect the parking light flash output from the DEI Valet, or you'll have to be clever and connect it with diodes to keep it from triggering it's own activation wire.
3. You'll also need some sort of bypass module to allow the vehicle to start without the key inside.
