Nice!!! I did my LEDS also, looks beautifful!! But I did have a question for you, the side doors with the red lense you can change them to clear?? Its off the ES 350? Obviously it the IS 250/350 model with no problem?? If not, this is the part number you got right? 81230-47010?? how much were they?
Will putting Sylvannia Silverstar Ultra bulbs in the foglight, give the foglight internal reflector that blue hue that is emitted from the blue on the bulbs when the light is off? I hate that blue hue.
I've come to the conclusion that you cannot have High Beams with LED DRL. I'm not about to go changing my lights every year so, looks like I'm keeping the stock butt nasty DRL. I would change to Sylvannias but I really don't like that blue hue that is emitted when the lights are off. I could live with a little bit of it in the foglight but not in the headlight.
Just so my theories are confirmed: Does anyone have Sylvannia Silverstar Ultras for DRLs and/or Foglights and can you show a picture of them with NO lights on?

the DRLs are running at the high beam bulbs with 1/2 the power... no matter what color your bulb lenses are... it will still be yellow... it is due to the 1/2 power and the bulb naturally is yellow-er... you might have a slight blue but not so noticeable...
foglights with no lights on.. is not one that everyone has done... might wanns check out the DIY and find out who has done it

Chekmi21 - Yes. Blue coated bulbs will do that which is why I am a fan or the Putco Mirror white bulbs :-) They have a chrome finish so you do not get that aftermarket bluish reflection.

Hey guys. I want to get my hid kit soon since my 2IS doesnt come with hid. Want to get 6k low beam and 3k for fogs. Low beam plan to get philips hid kit with ballast. Is it a good brand? How abt the fogs? Should i get hid kit too or just the 3k 9006 bulbs?
you need 2 HID Kits... phillips is definitely a premium brand! you'll not go wrong with it... please do mount the ballasts at the correct places.. preferably behind the bumper reinforcement

Philips does not make HID kits. There are numerous companies selling "philips" HID kits though which do not use genuine German made Philips bulbs or ballasts. They use components manufactured in China.
We do sell kits that use genuine German made Philips bulbs here:

Philips ballasts are great for OEM HID applications however they are also designed for OEM HID applications. In OEM HID applications, the ballasts are usually encased within the headlight protecting them from water damage. In aftermarket HID applications the ballast is usually mounted outside the headlight where it is susceptible to weather damage.
The Xtreme ballasts and Volt ballasts are specifically designed for this application as they are epoxy sealed making them water tight.
