Did the puddle lamp bulb change today. changed to a Polarg M2 hyper white wedge. Looks great. The DIY where you tilt the mirror all the way up and then stick your hand through the bottom and pull the mirror upwards and unclip it and then undo the screws is soooooo simple.

I also did the white illuminated door sills that match my puddle lamps perfectly now. That was supper easy. Plug and play. I found it easiest to pull the stock sills out from the inside and peel backwards toward outside the car. It requires some force.

i would recommend prying the lense out isntead. it's 10x faster.

well it would be faster, but i find it easier to take the whole thing out then pry the lense cover off but either way is fine. i took my time.

i tried to take the whole thing off, but it seems like theres more clips that you need to release first before the entire unit would come out. it doesnt seem like it comes out that easliy? i didnt really care to try prying to hard and denting up the headliner to find out.

if u search in this thread it actually tells u step by step. once u unscrew u pull it down a little then u pull it towards you after the hooks in the back are off then u pull down to get those white tabs off. its a pain but this will let u change the dome and the reading lights. i used a credit card to get the plastic off as it was easier for me when the unit is actually on my lap doin it then usin the card to pry it up top. was difficult for me that way but hey if u can pry it up top then u will save time.
