Default Blue Tooth ? All

Hi All Just Came Across A Question That Some One Might Have A Little Insight On
When I Bought My Is I Already Had Owned My Razor And Was Fluent With Using And Pairing Blue Tooth With My Navi
Well.... My G/f Just Got Her New Phone , We Paired It Up With The Car No Problem
But,,,,,,,,,,is It Possible To Have Both Phones Connected To The Navi Via Blue Tooth And Answer Either One
So Far It Seems Like U Can Only Have One Phone Connected At Once?
Any One Have And Interaction With This ?

Ok well here is the thing with Verizon and Bluetooth. Not all the blue tooth phones will work to tranfer the address book to your car but will most will connect. I have a razor with an older Rev. of the software on the phone and it works great. Verizon Wireless disables the data transfer option on most of their blue tooth phone, due to the fact they want people to use the get-it-now function. So what i would do is eather get the phone you want and hack the software or get a phone and type in your address book one by one

I am sure there are a few website's evern Lexus.com that will tell you what phones work well.

OH yea.. P.S. The razor is a crappy phone.... even worst if its Cingular's ..

I'll caution you that the Bluetooth information on the Lexus site is provided by "letstalk.com", a cellular reseller that has nothing to do with the phone manufacturers, the cellular providers, nor the Bluetooth consortium. I'm not sure how up-to-date it is. In a quick spot check, looking at current phones available from Verizon, they don't list the Motorola V3m (the new multimedia version of the RAZR), which I'm nearly certain is compatible.

I don't think the Lexus website has been updated anytime lately. I have Verizon as my service provider and there's a couple models that I know have bluetooth, but aren't listed on their site.

Just so that it's clear that most Verizon phones have butchered Blue Tooth that only has a profile to talk and not to transfer data. It's partial BT functionality. The only Verizon phones that have a "more" complete BT set of profiles are the PDA versions (ie PPC, smartphone, Palm and RIM) Verizon is a sneaky bunch.
