I have never had a problem with my blue tooth, but as of two days ago the blue tooth is not showing up it just says no connect on the screen. I can't even get the voice command to come on. Its not the phone but the actual blue tooth in the car that has stopped working. Can I trouble shoot this some how?
Is Bluetooth on your phone turned on? Can you see your Lexus listed in the Bluetooth profiles on your phone? Is the Bluetooth on your phone working with other vehicles? Have you tried deleting and re-pairing your phone with your Lexus?
I agree with Kansas based on personal experience with a reluctant Moto G4 Play that the car would periodically drop and then not allow me to reconnect. I tried all of the above to no avail.
It required a factory reset (and loss of saved stuff) to make it work again. I got rid of that phone.
My phone can not detect it because the blue tooth is not showing up in my car. My phone detects every other blue tooth around me. I know it is not a phone issue. It's something with my car.
Assuming your RX has navigation, are you able to get to the Setting screen on which Bluetooth can be disabled and enabled so you can see if is disabled?
Mine does not have the navigation I have a 2011 Lexus RX350
I'm not familiar with the non-nav Bluetooth phone system. If you can't get it to work per section 3-4 of your owners manual, your recourse may be a Lexus dealer.
