So, I just got the call...my IS is here...woot.

I'm going to pick it up now and I wanted to get some last second advice from you all...

Is there anything I should expect to check, receive, or talk about when picking it up?

I can think of the following as far as a new car checklist goes:

• Walk around the vehicle. Check for dents, dings, scratches, etc.
• Turn on the radio, nav, seats, make sure everything is working and in order
• Make sure I have my Z1 accessories (i.e. wheel locks, trunk mat, trunk net)

I'm sure there are tons of other things, but I'm scatter-brained right now with excitement.

What am I missing?

you forgot a few important things

make sure its a full tank of gas
and TAKE A PICTURE!!!

 

And mine is due for this saturday... cannot wait!

LOL, when I took delivery, I was just staring at it and looking at how beautiful it was, and just went home.

 

I did the whole paint check and pointed some scratches out, but I didn't pay attention to much....just wanted to drive it so bad. Congrats. You won't be able to sleep the first few nights, I'll tell you that much

Got my VIN yesterday. Car should be in the dealer next week. Ordered 3/15 in Pittsburgh. blk/tan 250 manual tranny. Trying to set up getting a Clear Bra before I drive it home 200 miles plus.

Anything to add on the Pickup Checklist????? No Stickers, No Test drives are main concerns I told the dealer.

 

Yeah i got my VIN the other day too . . . I ordered march 11. I told my dealer as well about no license brackets, stickers, etc and he gladly agreed. I need to get setup with a clear bra as well . . .

 

Buy some floormats! Don't wanna get her dirty on the 1st day.

Also, make sure you get all your manuals and keys. Oh, and while you're at the dealer, see if they'll throw in some freebies as well. I got a couple extra keychains and aftermarket license plate frames. Congrats on the purchase!
