Has anyone else found a solution to this problem?

Well? Did they fix your problem?

I'm about to bring mine to the dealership to address the same issue, including a similar rattle on the corner of the front windshield.

I have this problem on my sunroof. Took it to the shop a few times but they only seem to want to clean the rubber seal. The squeaking is worse when it's cold.

The sunroof problem is an entirely different issue. The solution to that can be found here towards the bottom of the page:

Got my 09 2IS a week ago. Rear window has a slight rattle and front right pillar creaks after being exposed (parked) in sunlight. Doesn't make any noise during the night or when the car is cool. Weird?

I have to say it is really annoying.

EDIT: Hai

this "creek" that the thread is talking about isn't really a "rattle" its more like your stepping on an old wooden floor board. but sad the 09's still seem to have something similar. and of course it makes sense only when its hot because in heat things expand.

I can't stand it either. My wife's IS started cracking last OCT. I thought it might go away but it's worse now. I hope the TSIBs are still valid. Will bring the car in later this week.

I had this issue in my 06 GS, it took several trips to the dealer to mimic the actual sound for them to fix but I figured it out when I tried to find the sound by pressing on the rear windshield from the inside. I did it from the driver side but it could be done from either side. I literally forgot what the fix was but I didn't get any squeaking this past winter.

Remember, just because you hear it and bring it to the dealer, doesn't mean they will fix it for you, you must replicate the issue to them and the technician must know exactly what is wrong (it usually cannot be heard on hotter days and on smooth roads).

I just pressed on it really hard from the inside to show them the creaking.

As far as Newport Lexus was concerned, the rear windshield creak was not common but the front dash creak was very well known and they got that fixed along with the recall last year.

Just got the car back today. Took it in for the pedal recall and told them about the rear window creak. I told them it may be related to the clips. Tech said that was only front. They basically took the whole back seat area apart, bolted down all the bolts, and told me everything was good now. Drove out and the sound came back in 10 minutes.

I will do more searching, but has anyone solved there issue on this problem? I don't want to start another thread for an old problem.

I've searched all the way to 2007. I don't see that there was any solution or TSIB. If anyone has had this problem and it has been solved... Please advise. Thanks!!!

after doing more searching and reading more post... I really don't think Lexus has a solution for this. I guess no car is immune to problems. This and my X5 are like two crying babies who are only happy when they can burn money.
