If I can fix this myself, that would be great. Otherwise, I have to take a day off in order to take it into the nearest Lexus dealer, which is 2 hours away....pain in the backside!!!! As the weather get warmer, this problem just gets worse and I have to crank the ML up really high to not notice it, then I also don't notice the Tanabe. I have never heard a more annoying noise in any vehicle I ever owned....makes you sometimes forget you are driving a Lexus.

So this TSIB applies to the front dash/window popping noise problem? I've been having this since forever and didn't know if the dash fix would take care of it. This window fix is different then right?

There are two diffrent TSIB's one fore the windshield and one for the center console rattle.
Windshiled = NV005-06 Revised September 18, 2006
Centerrattle = NV003-06 Revised August 29, 2006

Still can't believe all this. I got rid of an Infiniti because af rattles (thinking when I purchased it, that would be the least of my concerns), and was so confident Lexus would be totally free of this crap. My X-wife's Merc ML350 was also a bucket of rattles. My brother just bought the new ML and I am sure they addressed all those issues in the next generation. At any rate, this is pissing me off.

My is250 makes the same annoying cracking/ticking/popping noise from the back windshield. I've called in and make appointment to bring my car in May 7. Actually had this problem last year for a few days then it when away but it has returned and wouldn't go away now. My is250 is starting to make alot of noises everywhere now and it is becoming very annoying. The dealer fixed the center console noise a few months back and, at least, that part is still good.

G'day guys! I noted that the TSIB's posted were for the Instrument Panel & Front Windshield....Has anyone got the TSIB for the REAR window having the creaking noise?
