Default How do I remove the rear console?

I'm looking to get underneath the rear part of the console - took the two front bolts off but it still wouldnt budge - couldn't figure out how to get the trim or the lid off. I thought I saw a thread about it a while back but couldn't find it. Can someone point me to a how-to? Thx.

Actually, I should clarify - I'm talking about the rear part of the main console, where the power outlet and aux jack is - not the rear armrest thingy.

Don't look too hard, it's not there. Didn't have to remove that part to perform the procedure. So I don't know the answer but what are you trying to accomplish? Something fun?

If you're that desperate, crack open the wallet and pop for a subscription to TIS. (The online service manual). A one day subscription is $10.00. If you have a broadband connection, you can download and save LOTS of PDFs in that 24 hours.
