Default Remove arm rest?

Hello
does anyone have directions to remove the middle console under the armrest
and access the power and aux jack?

After you remove the shift ****, center trim piece and ashtray/cig lighter- There are 6 10mm bolts holding the center console in place: First 2 are up behind where ashtray resides. Next 2 are right in the middle. Last 2 are furthest back....you need to remove the REAR vent assembly that snaps onto the center console to access these.

Sorry, no pics on hand but its easy as long as you remove the 6 bolts and don't just start pulling.

The rear vent assembly on my F is ridiculously tight. It was pretty easy on my 350.

Question Center Console/Armrest Removal

Anyone have any tips/DIY on removing the center console? I am installing a Vais Tech iPod interface and I need to run a cable into the console. Thanks...

Yes, and you'll think you're breaking it for sure. At least I did because mine is that tight. Makes you wish your girl was...well...anyway, just pull on it.
