Piston Slap
My Is350 Has A Piston Slap Noise. Does Anyone Else Have This Problem? I Understand The Is350 Is A Loose Motor. That's Probably Part Of The Reason.
There's Also A Ticking Noise. I Found Out It's The Direct Injection. The Injection Noise I Can Accept But The Piston Slap Is Not Acceptable.
Any Help Would Be Appreciated.

Only thing I could tell you would be that I know the 4.0L unit in the 4Runner was having the same problem (it's also a GR engine) and dealers were telling customers to just live with it because it wasn't going away. Could be totally different for the IS, who knows.
I'm always a little suspect of people without any real knowledge of engine internals claiming to hear piston slap. If you think it's an issue, bring it to the dealer. Beyond that, even assuming it is slapping, there's nothing you're going to be able to do about it.
Some amount of slap on a cold start is normal in most cases.

Its good for diesel engines. Back in the old days it would help old worn out engines we had.
don't use it when its cold.
I havn't heard this slap, I have heard the injectors.
