Default T-Mobile MDA bluetooth integration

anyone have experience with this phone on the 2IS?
I have a RAZR right now which works well, I wonder if the MDA will work.

T-mobile MDA works well except that the phonebook will not transfer. Not even one at the time. You can just pick a number from the phone and it will dial through the car.

If anyone knows a workaround, I would love to hear it.

Same thing with my Treo. It sucks and I don't have much time to enter the numbers one by one. Any "hacks" for that?

I have an mda also.. I haven't tried it yet.. but if you use a different phone to transfer the contacts to the car... won't they stay when you pair a different phone onto it?

I doubt any Windows Mobile phone will transfer contacts to the car. I have had 3 (2125, 700w, and now Q) and none of them ever transferred.

I doubt it will be that easy to hack either.

I have entered in the ones I use most, and I would do more, if the dam nav would allow me to set the phone entry keyboard to QWERTY.

i don't have an IS but I did experience issues with migrating my phone data from one normal phone to my MDA and vice versa. For some reason it will only send one contact at a time.

If only someone would make a sim card reader for the automobile phone... that way you can import your data.

My phone is cingular 8125, I look at lexus website on the compatibility of my phone. Here's what I found:
Transfer single number phonebook entries to the handsfree system : No
Transfer multiple phonebook entries to the handsfree system at once : No

You can find the link here : http://lexusbluetooth.letstalk.com/b...htm?prId=30181

If you are lexus owner, you can find different phone spec here: http://lexusbluetooth.letstalk.com/p...iew=1&model=IS
