I just bought this box for my IS350 and I'm having it installed tomorrow.

I'm having it done at Best Buy and I'm praying they don't screw anything up.

Quote: hmmm....this concerns me now....coz i didnt remove the stock sub...it's still connected....i was goin to disconnect it but i didnt know how to get access to the stock sub....i think i had to remove the rear deck but i had no idea how to do that....can anyone tell me how to remove the rear deck or if there is an easier way to get to the stock sub wires?
It is not difficult at all. You basically remove the RR scuff plates then lift up on the RR seat cushion to remove it. Then you remove a series of bolts to remove the seat back. You need to unclip the plastic seatbelt guides to fully remove the seat back. Next you will need to remove the c-pillar garnish by the window then you can remove the rear package tray to get access to the sub. As easy as 1-2-3!

Wow This 10" sub sounds like a very nice alternative. My question is can you actually feel the difference in this sub compared to the stock one? I mean I can feel my stock sub in the car when its turned up with a nice song... Can you reallly feel the basslink more than the stock sub?

I don't have ML, but I'll post my impressions when I get it installed later today, hopefully with no problems.

I have a no ML system and am running off my stock deck. I had to add a processor to make it sound really good. Let me know if you want pics of the final product.

What sound processor did you use and did it really make much of a difference?

Can you post some pictures?

I have one of these too and love it. Its a perfect compliment to a otherwise stock system. Any more bass and it would be out of whack with the original components.

Question for the OP: How did you secure it to the floor of your trunk? Did you drill, use velcro, etc..?

TIA

Oh thats an excellent idea! I had one of these in my hatch back. I tell you what they sound awesome in hatch back. I also had one put in a honda accord.. it wasn't nearly as loud as the hatch though.
