For the remote wire I thought the Basslink has "auto turn-on with speaker-level inputs"?
It looks like there are brackets at the bottom of the Basslink, were those included with teh Basslink? Or did you fabricate them yourself? Thanks! Looks great!
It does have auto turn-on with speaker-level inputs but I don't use it because using that function will make a "thump" sound anytime you turn on and of the audio unit.
The braket are included with the Basslink and I found a great location to mount them. Using two 2" screw, i mount the bracket through the plastic peice and into the metal part of the car.
wow great job Tim!! I have a 10 box sub with amp mounted on the back of the box and hadn't planned on putting it in my !S but now that I see a bass doesn't ruin the sound quality of the other speakers I think I'll definately do it.
How with this compair with the ML sub? I have the ML comming but have heard bad things about this sub. Im wondering if im going to have to do something with the ML sub.

If I have a lease, which I do lol, will this void my warranty in any way? I mean I know service techs are not supposed to be opening my trunk but you never know... lol

i dont think it would void anything..and even if it did..its only if the wiring from the sub caused the problem..i have a lease too and i'm putting my basslink in this weekend
