Default Ash tray conversion kit?

Isn't there a replacement ashtray that actually holds coins for the non-smokers who never intend to use their ash tray to ash?

I haven't found one yet, but I hope someone else has. I'll order it right now!

Somebody posted a picture of a sunglasses tray in place of the ashtray. He said it was from he Japanese Lexus website. I tried to find it there but couldn't track it down.

Anyone read Japanese? When I clicked on the site it asked me if I wanted to install Japanese Language Pack and I said "Yes" and now everything is in Japanese.

The language pack is a font pack. So instead of seeing square boxes where each letter is you can actually see the kanji.

I already asked the people at Carson about this. They are trying to obtain a part number so that they can order it.

Man, sign me up once they get that. Our Ash tray for coins are hella narrow and tight. It bugs so can't wait till they come out with that conversion. Hey Sickntired, let us know once they release it here in S. Kal / US, thanks.

It looks like it may be a more complicated install, since it will replace the cigarette lighter socket. I hope it doesn't mean that you have to disassemble the wood/aluminum trim around the shifter.

One of the guys from Canada bought one in Japan, you have to remove the centre console, see the NAV mod thread for how to remove the centre console, it's not that hard.
