If the navigation is equipped with the Mark Levinson sound system, yes.
If it doesn't have the Mark Levinson sound system, no.

When he says DVD video, does that mean like blockbuster movies not just like music dvd video? I thought most nav's prevented you from doing such thing as watching a movie while driving is a big no no.

if you get the ML/Navi package you can watch dvds on the navi screen when the car is in park with the parking break up.

All of the navigation info is on a single DVD, as opposed to some older systems that made you switch out cds if you drive to a different region.

Because the Navigation disc utilizes a DVD disc to retrieve the map information from instead of an internal hard drive. This way you can update your Nav maps by simply swapping out the DVD. And no the DVD drive for the NAVI does not read DVD Video/Audio discs.

dvd refers to maximum 4.7gb of data on a single-layer disc; has nothing to do with the actual contents on the disc.
