Clear Bra Installed
Fortunately, I did not have to drive around with Blue Painters tape like Ldynred's car. =)
Just had my clearbra installed by Jeremy at Invisiguard in Northern California. He did a great job on my G35 coupe so I asked if he could do the IS250. They recently came out with the IS250/350 kit.
I thought it was a good investment since freeway driving and wet weather can ruin the bumper and hoods. The G35 and IS bumpers are so broad that they do not do a good job deflecting debris so I think a clearbra is a must. I had the hood, bumper, fenders, headlights, foglights and rearview mirrors done. He uses two types of material, one is thicker for the headlight and fogs and one is thinner for the body. He does mobile installs which was way cool since Santa Rosa is a bit of a drive. I thought I would share some pics:

No offense taken. However, if you are referring to the foglight (not headlight) in the last picture having uneven lines, wouldnt be hard to have someone hand cut the lines? I have seen installers work on G35's that decide to hand cut and also cut on the cars and they dont looks as good. The ones that I have seen hand cut seemed to have the apprearance that someone did it by hand (uneven lines, curves, maybe what you are referring to etc). Albeit I have seen some bad pre-cut templates installs. Take it for what its worth, but I think he did a good job.
Yes, it was a precut template.

I never considered tucking around the edges or custom wrap job. Many custom jobs I have seen looked like they were cut by hand. Purely preference, I would rather have straight edges. I am sure the quality installers like Jeremy/Invisiguard and Premier do a good job regardless whether pre-cut or custom. So finding someone experienced is the biggest key. Does Invisiguard do custom? Probably, you should call him as I dont know the answer.
I was always satisfied with the precut kit because it still looked good and that it is less expensive. I have to draw the line of saving or spending $300 after purchasing an expensive car. I would rather save that for the spoiler. My G35 never had problems with film developing around the edges probably because I am so particular about my car.
