Default Prices?!?

Anybody heard any REAL pricing information? In particular, the IS 350 w/ ML and Nav. I am hoping it stays below $40K. Thanks.

In about two weeks. The IS350 with Nav and ML should be around $40K. Maybe a little less, maybe a little more, but definately around $40k...

A loaded IS350 ML & Nav will start in the mid $40s.

I've been hoping that an IS250 AWD with Nav and the Premium Luxury Plus package (no ML) will be around $35K. Does that estimate seem fair to you all?

I am looking for an IS 250AWD as well and here is my quess

Base 250 std $30,000

Add auto $1500

Add AWD $2000

Add Nav $2300

Add adaptive lights $500 (HID may be an upcahge as well)

Cooled seats $200

Sunroof $1000

That gets me to about $37,500 before the delivery charge.

Just a guess, but I wouldn't think that Auto + AWD would add $3500 to the base price. I would've leaned more towards $2000. Nobody knows though!

Upper 30s seems to be more plausable an for IS250AWD with those options.

mid 40's will be quite high to start even with those options...that will turn some buyers back to bmw imo...

Flip - since you are the man when it comes to info about the car I figured I would ask. When you say loaded do you mean with PCS and adaptive cruise and all that or just Premium Plus package type with Nav & Lev?

Seems like the estimated pricing for the 350 is creeping upwards. Intiially everyone was guessing Premium + with Nav/Lev would be around $42k now it seems that number is more like $45+k.

I don't know if PCS is available on the IS250, but if it was, it would push the total to $40K+. That's got to be way too high for this model.

Nah because I loaded up a 330i with iDrive/Nav, ACC, XM/Sirius hookup, comfort access and it actually ended up being low 50's

Edit: That's touching GS territory on their entry level car. I think Lexus is being careful not to let the IS350 and the GS300 compete with each other in pricing. BMW's always been pretty bad with that though. When the X3 (3.0) came out originally, you could get a loaded one for the same price as a base X5 (3.0) which had a lot of the X3's optional equpiment as standard features.

Yes PCS is available for this model...but will be a rare feature. The IS250 AWD we drove back in August was a fully loaded model w/PCS & Radar Cruise. Just as the IS350 we drove...both having Nav/ML, PCS & Radar Cruise both with PLP (Premium Lux Plus).
