Default Do I need a new oil cap?

Just happened to spot this while trying to find a coolant leak, bottom of the oil cap is cracked. Could this cause an oil leak or is the crack low enough it doesn't matter? There is oil residue around the outside but that could easily be me spilling over time.

You talking about the cap itself or the aluminum casting?

You're everywhere! Lol the cap. Just realized the pics are blurry. You can make out a chip in the plastic of the oil cap on the bottom. Basically from the 1st thread down.

Looks like the cap is starting to disintegrate best to replace so more pieces don't fall into the engine. Not expensive 12180-21021 is $20 at a dealer. Parts diagram implies it comes with a gasket.
