Default Orange/ rust colored stuff in oil cap

I just changed my oil and saw that theirs some kinda orange/ rust looking stuff on the oil cap. Any1 know what’s that?

Don't know. I've seen this on many engines including one of my own cars. Possibly moisture that collects at the top of the cap.

This can occur when the car is used for multiple short trips and the oil does not get hot. It's usually a combination of combustion by-products, fuel and moisture.
If most of your miles are highway or if the car is new then you might have bigger problems.

Makes sense if , and i'm not sure of this , the inside is metal. If it's plastic or nonmetalic i might want to investigate further.Damn, now you've got me thinking about mine!!!!!
