is this possible? can u turn the mileage back?
there is a 2005 Lexus is300 for sale in Atlanta Target shopping center parking lot.
it has only 24,642 miles on it
looks pretty clean.
drives perfect.
The car fax does not show the mileage except at the end it shows dealer put it for sale 24,589 miles.
It shows this annually...it says:
Registration issued or renewed
Titled or registered as
personal vehicle
Loan or lien reported
Color noted as white.
thinking about buying it...but would like to know:
1. is it possible to change the mileage on these cars...its digital.
2. when would my next major service be?
3. they are asking $15,000...is that fair price to pay?
4. anything major i should look out for?
thanks for your help!

Well 15k is a lot, you can get a lot with that money, the low mileage is one thing but seals and belts will still need to be changed as well as oil and trans fluid, antifreeze, brake fluid. Just to be on the safe side. Timing belt is recommended to be changed at 70k or 7 years whichever comes first.

Suspicious.
Try getting the VIN and looking it up service history on the Lexus owner's site
