Default CEL need help

codes are p0057 o2 heat some thing ( can't remember exactly what it said) & p0420 cat efficiency. Now I only had 1 code when I got the car last month & it was for an o2 sensor. I replaced that sensor, light went away, then came back with 2 codes. I just found out that the previous owner deleted the cats. I've heard of ppl using o2 simulators ( I don't know what those r or what they do ), rewiring some wires to make the lights go away. What can I do? Do I have to replace the cats, header? What do the guys that buy headers do cause most of the 1's I've seen don't have cats. PLZ help

If o2 sensors is your problem, you can get one of these o2 deletes so you won't need to get o2 simulators.

Your o2 sensors are not bad, if you do not have any cats, your o2 sensors are getting off the wall readings which is making your cars computer think your o2 sensor is bad, I have headers and an o2 simulator wired to my car. go to o2sim.com and order an o2 simulator.
and heres how to install

The one i mentioned is plug & play.
Don't have to worry about soldiering and rigging wires to your OE harness.
But as you notice, it's a little more expensive.

Either way its cheaper to buy any 1 of these than it is to buy the stock manifold wit da cats. I found some1 local selling da complete exhaust to me for $250. But again will 1 sim or 1 delete kit be enough. Or will I need more than 1?

Only need 1 or the other as far as I know.

If you don't have a cat you might want to get one if you're concerned about mpg's, or mice.

Yes you only need one o2 simulator, the o2 simulator is wired to take care of bank 1 and bank 2.
