First off, I have a 2004 MSM and I started having issues with the factory battery not holding a charge and purchased a new battery around 14 months ago. I am starting to have similar issues with my battery going dead and needing to be charged and/or jumped. The weather did just start getting colder down here in Texas, but didn't think that would have anything to do with it as the car is garage kept and stays fairly warm. Any ideas as what this may be from? Maybe the regulator? Thanks in advance for any help or comments.

Thanks a milli! I will try to sort it out over the weekend and update what I figured out.

 

Ha Ha. Got the load test done first and I just have a bad battery. I'm getting a new one today and hopefully will be back in business.

 

I have to bump this post as I'm chasing down a small power drain gremlin right now. I'll have to try the method you linked to at wikihow.com

Interestingly enough, I have an after market stereo, speakers and amps. All of the above were checked for good grounds and they were fine. To my knowledge the stock amp is still in the car...??
