Can someone tell me y my car smells after I punch on the gas? Someone said it might be the cats that aren't working.

 

what does it smell like?
Gas? burnt oil? or tires?

My 90 LS will have a light tint of a gas smell after I floor it or go around a corner or two at a fast speed.

 

can you be more descriptive of the smell?

KINDA SMELLS LIKE ROTTEN EGGS. IT DOESN'T SMELL LIKE GAS

 

Ok if it smells like rotten egg stop using Shell and Exxon gas!!!

Ah I know someone who has a Gs and IS that has that same smell! All about the gas eh. Is Amoco good?

It has to do with the MTB **** they put in there the Shell and Exxon gas doesn't burn well so the smell is that **** coming out un-burnt. you cann't smell it after you car heats up cause the cats burn it off before it comes out...
