My car started doing this put put low ideal thing after my dad filled it up with gas from a mom & pop gas station.He told me it drove fine until he cut it off and let it sit for awhile.When he went to start it up it ran terrible.Could the gas be the problem?

 

maybe. happened to me when i went to a thrifty, i suspected they had 87 in their 91 tanks. i went to a walmart up the street and got some STP gas thing, 3 for 2.29. made it run a lot better
