Default Eventfull weekend!!!

Well Saturday I finally got my car back from the body shop. They custom molded the center section of my C West front to accept a grill, resprayed it, and used armorgaurd(chip resistant clear). Upon receiving it Joe at Powerhouse Racing kept giving me crap about how dirty it was and all the swirl marks in the paint(bad me I know ) so he threw in a helping hand in detailing it. Then I noticed my nice Stoptech Rotors and Axxis pads I have had sitting for a while and figured what the hell why not.

And this is what you get when you feel that you have neglected your Lexus for long enough.

Here's the steps we took doing my car. Took roughly 5 hours just on paint and wheels:

wash with soap and water
clay bar
wash again with clean water and microfiber towel
dry
let sit in garage for an hour or so to cool off(Texas and black cars don't mix)
Meguiars Scratch X
Mequiars Tech Wax
Meguiars Polish

I love it. The grill really sticks out nicely.

very very nice and clean.. i like it except front bumper...

if i had a turbo, then i would choose that front bumper.... but eh bumper itself with no I/C in it looks ugly.. it looks EMPTY.

I know, I bought it with the kit, wheels ect ect already on it. I may boost it later down the road but for now it's just my daily driver.

SAY NO TO LEXUS NEGLECT!

That should be a slogan

The IS looks clean , and I love the brakes. Props to Joe for the encouragement.
