Can anyone help me out with my situation?

I have Injen's 2nd intake design with their redesigned air filter which is made specifically for the IS300. I also have Area51's Blackbox.

The problem I'm having is that the check engine light comes on a day after I reset the CPU(disconnecting the battery). I don't experience any problems with the check engine light until the next day after I'm driving for about 10 minutes in local traffic.

The car runs beautiful! I can definitely feel much more HP/torque within the mid range. It seems that I'm getting better gas mileage also. The car is much more responsive then the stock intake & BB set up.

Why do you think this is happening?

By keeping the Injen/BB set up and the check engine light on, will this hurt the engine?

Should I keep it in or take it back out?

Please help me with this decision.

Thanks!

I would just buy the area 51 intake to go with your area51 bb. Then put the injen intake on ebay.
