Unhappy Help me out guys...

Hey Guys...
I posted this issue earlier but looks like nobody cares....I just bought a new 2002 IS about 3 weeks ago and just recently scratched the bottom lip of the front bumper. To be honest you can't see it...but knowing it's there bothers me. Do you guys have this problem trying to not scratch the front bottom of the car...it seems like with my luck I have this problem...I hate hurting the car like this. What do you think I can do about this scratch...it's really minor but what do u think I could do to try to clean it up? I know I could have a body shop redo the bumper but that's too much...so what do you guys think? I really would like to hear anything that is related to this regarding you IS. Till then thank you and hope to hear from you soon...

The only thing you reallly can do is try to buff it out yourself or try using some polish. The real answer depends on how big and deep the scratch is.
If it's not too bad, you should be able to take it to an auto detailer and get it buffed out, and to prevent this from happening again, stay on the roads and off the dirt

Get a front lip spoiler to cover it up. That wouldn't really help either because then you run the chance of scraping that

I know the first one will help you, but if not, talk live to people who will give you an advice..

Lightbulb Just dont worry about it until.......

Hey don't worry about it until.......
You acumulate enough scratches and dents from driving your car that you can warrent the use of a body shop to fix them all.

I agree with AECIS300. The front of that car is low enough that you're going to be hitting quite a few curbs when you pull into a parking slot I believe. I'm a bit weary of doing this myself (I'm picking my car up Monday), but after awhile it would be worth a trip to the body shop. By that time you'll probably have learned where the front of the car is so that you won't be hitting any more curbs.
