Default Scu?trac Update & Replacement Tires

Well the ecu/trac part arrived the other day at Van Nuys Lexus, scheduled the maintanence the following day, and the service rep. Ed, hooked me up with a new set of Potenzas as well.

First off, the lagggggggggg is gone, however when the motor is cold the car "stutters" in the rear. After the motor has warmed up, everything is fine. Whe in "auto", car shifts about the same. The new tires have the double wall, and the ride is a bit louder, and firmer. I should have waited until my next oil change to swap the tires out. I was hoping for the Dunlops sp9000, no chance, damn!!!!!!!!!!! Just a little update, Merry x-mas and a Happy new year!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought my ride in 11/00, but never got the letter. I called Lexus and they are like, "hmmm I wonder why you did not get the letter, your VIN falls in the range to qualify. Better waiting while we research this. " Of course no eta, just, "oh sometime in Jan '02 we'll call you." I think they are giving me the brush off. *****. I swear, I highly doubt I will buy another Lexus, with this type of service.
