This crack is about two weeks old. My side wall, i think thats what its call, came loose somehow and crack the left inner side of my front bumper. Does anyone know how I can repair this? Any suggestion is welcome.
Thank you

I doubt you will be able to fix it yourself. You have to refiberglass the area and sand it down. Leave it to the bodyshop guys.

i agree. i mean its easy to fix of course but the thing is you pretty much have to pay for the whole bumper to be re sprayed and they're just going to fiberglass/bondo it back together again.

to me...honestly it doesnt look that bad.

I live in Central cali, Fresno. I know i should get it done rite, if i had the money. I think the pirce the shop will charge me i might as well get a new bumper, depending if they spot it or repaint the whole bumper. All i want to know is how to fix it enough so the crack doesn't get bigger. please be detail about the fix if any of you guys know. this is the most recent picture of the car, for those of you who are wondering what it looks like 8-6-2005. Yea i know i need rims and blah blah blah. I don't plan on putting any money in mods for this car, just keeping up with maintance is enough for me. I plan on getting a bike soon, yamaha r-1 =) I can soo pull girls with it lol j/k. Its not about pullig girls. If anyone of you are interested go to my site and see our pictures from our recent party.
thanks for all the suggestion

well it looks like you have stress cracks forming. Fixing it is pretty easy actually wut your want to do is cut a notch out exactly were the crack is (a bit larger then above and bellow) the notch will releave the stress. Next tape the front of the notch ( were paint is). After this take a couple strips of FG cloth and build it from the back , the reason u put the tape on front surface is because u don't want to sand it even forever. It should only take 4-5 small strips. once the FG is drie, sand the edge smooth (dremel with sand attachment). Use a hi quality filler such as rage gold light weight because its practically pin hole free. dont glob it on, thin layers and only were u need it ( i apply small things like that with wide blade razor blades) it garrentees smooth finish and clean up. for sanding u should start at 220 roughest and work your way up your should get it smooth pretty quick. Once your finished take it to a painter and have him paint that edge up make sure he's good at blending.

walla your down and saved alot of loot.

hope that helps.

pm me if u have any questions.
