Hey I wanted to ask ,my block for my stock IS is bad and my friend has a supra 2jz-ge(same engine) block and I was wondering since its almost the same engine will it work.I want to swap my old block with his block.Its a non turbo supra engine and I was wondering if it was ever done.Not worried about making it fast,I just want my car.Is this possible or is it going to be difficult?

 

The short block should be the same. I think the main difference is that Supra 2JZ-GE is non-VVTI. But as long as your just swapping out the short block, it will work.

You wouldnt of have hapen to been in New Orleans lately.Recently seen a carbon IS on a trailer.
