Tail Light bulb
im trying to replace the brake light bulb on my 01, how do i get to the bulb?

which one? outer ones just remove the 2 screws under the covers. inner - take out the 9 push plugs in the carpet and trunk release handle surround

well i replaced that bad bulb, and the warning light went off, but only for about a day. its back on now. i've looked at the back lights, they're all on and working fine. anyone know what might be cause the warning light to come on.

does it come on after you press the brakes for the first time? could be another brake bulb, just the brake filament. have someone step on the brakes and look at them

comes on right when i start the car and stays on. i pressed the brake and all my lights are working.

it may take a few days and then a filament might blow. same thing happened to me a few years ago.

If you are using replacement LED's they could be the cause...had LED's in my brake lights and the warning light comes on because LED's draw less power than reg. bulbs ...so little power they cause the sensor think the bulb is burnt out...if no LED's not sure the problem sorry
