For starters I seriously hope this hasn't been asked before (again).

OK here is what I need to find out, and what better place to ask than here.

The IS300 in stock form leaves me wanting more out of it, performance wise. So there are options flying around but I wanted to run them by you people cause I'm sure there is some valuable feedback here sinse I havent done this before. Some may be impractical but here goes.

The first and most sensible option would be to mod the engine, turbo or supercharger. How much $$$$ would this run for either unit + installation and all that stuff, and what kind of power gains etc (Approx.)

The second option would be swaps, either a turbo I6 (MKIV Supra Turbo) or the V8 (GS430). Whats the cost of such a swap including unit price, inst etc on each. (Approx.)

lol .. a lot and a lot best bet is to search the go faster section of the my.IS board and see what people have spent on the swaps, and upgrades.

A lot of people chose to boost their IS300s with superchargers or turbochargers. I could imagine that boosting your car would cost a considerable amount of $$$$. I just joined here so I dont know much about these boards, but in the my.IS boards, pleaty of people there have boost in their cars. That would be a good place to find some info.
